Murray mallee community consultative committee(mercunda mineral sands)
The Murray Mallee Community Consultative Committee (MMCCC) is a forum for discussion between Murray Zircon Pty. Ltd. and local stakeholders including landholders, the wider local community, relevant Landscape SA Board, Regional Development Board and the District Council of Karoonda East Murray on issues related to the mining project.
The MMCCC performs an advisory and consultative role and is not a decision-making or regulatory body.
The MMCCC will work to establish good working relationships and promote information sharing between Murray Zircon and local stakeholders in the Murray Mallee region with consideration of the local social, economic, and environmental impacts of the mine.
Meetings are held bi-monthly. Next meeting: Wednesday 9th October 2024
